     Capitano (also named Fracasso sometimes) is a boaster and braggart, usually the Spaniard. His costume is bright and extravagant, by which he tries to conceal his poverty. Very conceited, he is short and cowardly at the same time . He cannot appears without his threatening sword, but he never put it to use. A major decoration is the high hat with plum - subject of his special pride.
