Almost each little girl dreams to become a ballerina in her childhood. I did not avoid it, and even practiced choreography for some time (however, without success). But the memory of this children's impracticable dream has remained inside me. Once a small book about Anna Pavlova has got to me. I had red, that small Anna was a sickly baby, and her mother tried to leave the girl, wrapped her in cotton wool up, and the girl became a world-famous star of Russian ballet subsequently. This image had joined together with my children's "ballet dreams" and as a result my first "Little Swan" was born, and the whole collection had appeared later. And, playing a trick above pathos, with which is ballet said about, I have made these dolls in sentimental style for fun.
